The Realdolmen Salesforce team is currently Salesforce Silver Consulting Partner. Already a nice achievement in itself, but they are still heading for gold. Their strategy? Growing steadily with a dynamic team and a great deal of diversity.
Give your marketing the intelligence, capabilities and strength that these times of change require.
Our Tomorrow on Wheels van traveled 8490 kilometers (5275 miles) from April to June. That's roughly the distance between Brussels and San Francisco – but the van never actually left Belgium, instead it visited many official dealers of the Volkswagen Group. Our mobile training center offered the dealers brief on-site training sessions. The 'classroom on wheels' concept was a huge success.
For most people, their first job – or certainly their first internship – is the first time they come into contact with the world of business and all it has to offer. They are literally at the start of their career. They can go in any direction they choose. Though they are often unaware of the twists and turns their career path will take, they know one thing: they want that path to lead to the top.
The war for talent is a fact. In today's economic climate, there is an embarrassing shortage of ICT experts available on the job market. Any ICT professional with a new degree is pounced on by companies in their droves. Even so, the question remains: do graduates actually have the right skills to provide added value?
The demand for ICT professionals is greater than the supply, which leads to scarcity in the labor market. Every (ICT) company is competing for people with the right skills. Once they are part of the company, the new talent as well as the existing talent has to be fostered. But what exactly does that mean, fostering? We asked five young people from the Java team who have been working for Realdolmen for a year.
The weekend of June 16th was a top weekend for a group of Realdolmen staff members. As these colleagues become (biking) buddies, there was magic in the air and every mountain suddenly seemed conquerable. After having climbed Mont Ventoux last year, this time around they tackled the Stelvio Pass. Once again, they ended their conquest at the summit.
Every day we work to achieve something together. We unburden customers and enter into dialog with our colleagues. We do our absolute best every time to reach our common goal. As we do so, we always ensure that people remain the central focus. Our golden partnership with Child Focus is also based on these same pillars.
"These are truly happy times for people in the ICT sector who are concerned with ensuring user satisfaction and employee engagement," states Johan De Rop (change manager). He explains how Realdolmen's mission goes hand in hand with the power of change management.
The Internet of Things often remains an abstract concept. Yet IoT can be a real enrichment in business. Do you want to see what it's all about with your own eyes? Our IoT lab contains a range of functional IoT devices with their dashboards, all of which can be implemented as part of a customized IoT solution. On the basis of 10 use cases, you will gain a good overview of the impact and the implementation options of IoT.
One good turn deserves another. Our R-ambassadors voluntarily help to tell Realdolmen’s story to the outside world. We are deeply appreciative of their efforts. We try to express that gratitude regularly in small ways. This time, they got to take a day trip through Antwerp on a vintage moped.
Over the last few weeks, we have been taking a close look at the broad domain of the Internet of Things. Today, the question remains as to how a company can take something from this field that they can use to create business value. How do you identify the piece of the IoT that complements your ever-changing business puzzle, a piece that literally links things together and helps to solve the puzzle?
