29 January 2013

RealDolmen, one of the leading ICT-suppliers in Belgium, will for the next 3 years deliver computer hardware and IT services to a consortium of 72 city councils and other public services in West Flanders, with the City of Kortrijk as leading party. RealDolmen won the most important parcels of the frame agreement, good for an estimated value of 14,8 million euros.

The biggest part of that amount will go to elementary hardware, software and support, but also consultancy in enterprise architecture and GIS, training and staffing are included. Participants are free to choose vendors and suppliers. On Tuesday 29th of January a kick-off meeting will be held where all participants can meet the selected framework agreement contractors. The contract itself is set for 3 years with the possibility to extend it twice, each time for a period of 1 additional year.

“This is the biggest frame agreement we have won within the area of local governments,” says RealDolmen Sales Director Chantal Roosens, “the number of participants is very high, and the differentiation between products and services we’re offering is also exceptionally high. I believe this serves as a perfect example of our role as single source ICT solutions provider.”
