AWS Well Architected review and remediation

Your IT and AWS environment is an ever-changing, ever-evolving environment. The circumstances are turned on their head, security groups changed and people experiment with new AWS services. How can you make sure the environment as a whole stays under control, secure and efficient?

Why you need to have your AWS environment reviewed regularly

The benefits of performing a Well-Architected review are numerous:

  • Reduction in costs
  • Improvement in reliability
  • Enhancement of security
  • Improvement of platform performance and utilization
  • Improvement in the way you operate your cloud environment.

To ensure we take a structured approach, we use the AWS Well-Architected Framework, which is a set of strategies to help you compare your workload against best practices and obtain guidance to produce stable, efficient systems so that you can focus on functional requirements.

How do we engage?

Over a 5-to-10-day period, we structurally review your environment and prepare a remediation plan.

  • Discovery (2 hours): We (virtually) meet to ensure we understand the scope, the technical and business context, the key stakeholders and all practicalities.
  • Information gathering (2 to 5 days):  Our AWS Certified Architect collects data from the identified workloads. We learn to understand your environment and workloads and investigate where the current situations fall short and where further optimization is possible.
  • Findings & remediation plan (2 days): On completion, our AWS architect compiles and delivers a detailed report and presents and discusses the findings with you. This covers the current state of your architecture

Following the Remediation, we help you to implement the findings of the report and solve issues based on the set of priorities.

You will receive €5,000 in credits.
