Microsoft Office becomes Microsoft 365.
Microsoft is making a name change. After 32 years, we will soon no longer say “Microsoft Office” when referring to the well-known office software, but rather “Microsoft 365”.
Microsoft has been experimenting with the name Microsoft 365 for a while. In 2020, it was suddenly the name of a business offering that included both Windows 10 and Office 365. This rebranding is now being extended from Office 365 to Microsoft 365. In the coming months, there will also be a new icon and a new look. The names of the individual programs, such as Word and PowerPoint, will stay the same. They are also available individually for sale to anyone who wants them. For now, existing subscriptions are still called Office 365. (Source: DataNews, 10/14/2022)
