When ARhus decided to switch its classic file server for Office 365 and SharePoint in the cloud, the open knowledge center in Roeselare had to find a back-up solution. While Microsoft provides a platform and software, it is the customer who is responsible for backing up their data. After consulting with IT partner Realdolmen, Veeam Backup was selected. In using Veeam, ARhus has access to its own data at all times. Veeam can also recover lost or deleted data very quickly.
IT plays an important role at the ARhus Knowledge Centre in Roeselare. Open seven days a week, they have to be able to guarantee continuous availability. To be able to provide this service, they selected an outsourced cloud model.
