This year’s event puts focus on Future of Infrastructure under the theme The digital future is built on cloud. IDC’s Senior Program Director for the Infrastructure Software, Carla Arend will start the conference day with her keynote where she will share the latest IDC research on the topic.

The future of digital infrastructure is cloud in all its forms: private, hybrid and multicloud including edge. To use cloud successfully, organizations need to align their digital infrastructure with their business strategy and master 7 aspects of cloud: Digital innovation and industry cloud, Application modernization, Data, Intelligent CloudOps, Skills, Digital sovereignty and regulations, Sustainability. The move to cloud is no longer just a technology decision but increasingly a business decision that has a huge transformational potential for the entire organization. Strategy, skills, and culture are just as important for success as choosing the right technologies.

At 14.05 Conny Van den Steen, Solution Manager Multicloud from Inetum-Realdolmen, will together with IDC engage in a fireside chat discussion about the impact that multicloud transformation has on datacenter infrastructure. He will explain how bridging the gap between maximum control/performance and speed of innovation/scale.
