Our solution: Disaster Recovery for VMware workloads

Our self-service solution ensures that you can restore or start up your critical virtual machines yourself from our Rcloud environment. The setup is very simple: the link to our cloud infrastructure can be made after installing a virtual appliance (VMware Cloud Director Availability On-Premises Appliance) in your own environment. In this way, we create a virtual data center for you with the necessary resources in terms of CPU, memory and disk capacity that you can use yourself – based on reliable HPE technology.

Customized

Different packages in a pay-as-you-use model provide the possibility to configure your own requirements for each virtual machine in terms of:

Replication: determine the RPO (minimum 5 minutes) and number (maximum 24) of instances that need to be replicated yourself
Failover: in what timeframe should your virtual machine be up and running on our Rcloud environment?
Failback: migrate your virtual machines to the on-premise environment if it is online again

You are in control. Using the VMware Cloud Director Availability Tools, you can protect or migrate workloads by replicating virtual machines. In terms of management, there is a dashboard to track incoming and outgoing replications and tasks.

Rcloud in short

Rcloud has a redundant setup for high availability in two physically separated HPE data centers: InterXion in Zaventem and LCL in Erembodegem. The servers and storage, based on HPE technology, are located in Belgium, which offers legal security in terms of laws and regulations on privacy-sensitive data. In addition to Rcloud's ISAE 3402 type 2 certification and its complementary services, both data centers are ISO 27001 certified. They are Tier III(+) data centers whose expertise is highly regarded.
