Job Description

To strengthen the RealDolmen Master Data Management team, we are looking for a Senior MDM Consultant, a go-getter to work on MDM initiatives at different client sites. MDM is partly hype: we offer you the opportunity to excel in this domain and to turn MDM solutions into real value for our customers.

As a senior MDM consultant you will:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify independent data stores imbedded in current business processes and integrate these elements into a cohesive MDM based solution
• Serve as the primary lead in driving the analysis and requirements development activities associated with Master Data Management components including: development of data models, business process maps, data definitions, data cleaning schemes,data import- and integration models, and requirements UI prototypes
• Develop logical and physical data modeling design using a modeling tool based on business requirements
• Perform review and reconciliation of proposed data models with the business and specified areas within IT
• Develop data maps and design data flow diagrams
• Capture logical and physical metadata for the data models and store this in a metadata repository
• Developing data ownership, governance models and data management strategies
• Ability to drive an MDM project plan and execute to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills

Profile

Flexibility, willingness to share your experience/knowledge and a result-oriented commercial attitude are key. The ideal MDM consultant we are looking for:

• Master Data Management (MDM) experience is a must; Proven ability to analyze and integrate various IT and Business process elements to affect meaningful improvement to current data management services and business processes
• Minimum of 5 years of I.T. experience including at least 3 years experience in database modeling and enterprise integration principles
• Previous lead experience and a proven track record of delivering solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in working with all levels of an organization's technical and business departments
• Customer focused, strong customer relationship management experience and the ability to set client expectations appropriately
• Ability to function as a team player and multi-task in a fast paced environment and to work effectively with a diverse group of business and technical personnel
• Able to communicate fluently in English, languages like Dutch or French are a Plus
