How Realdolmen helps to realize its customers' potential: Engie Electrabel

In these times of digital transformation, it is important that market leaders such as Engie Electrabel can put their energy in responding to the changing requirements of customers and IT. As the company has a large marketing and sales department with operations in Belgium and abroad, Engie Electrabel was looking for a cloud solution to make the cooperation and communication between the various teams faster and more efficient. Below we explain how Realdolmen helped Engie Electrabel to reach its potential, so that the company can focus even more on its mission: "... helping you to spend less on energy".

Engie Electrabel's requirements were clear: a fast, efficient and secure cloud solution that allows the various teams to work, communicate and develop together even better.

ALM_image_1.png The Realdolmen Application Lifecycle Management team led by Koen Callens made the project a success. We worked together with our partners HP, Microsoft and SonarCube, who handled the technological side of things, to achieve a single ecosystem supporting several software teams and technologies. This result was achieved in Realdolmen's usual pragmatic, constructive and proactive way in order to unlock the potential of everyone involved. 

A constructive preliminary study in consultation with Engie Electrabel identified which sections could be retained and which parts could be migrated to the new platform. A phased migration was agreed due to the project's size.
This pragmatic approach resulted in a fast delivery with a minimal impact on the teams involved.
Our proactive project approach also resulted in further collaboration between Realdolmen and Engie Electrabel: Realdolmen now acts as Engie Electrabel's Trusted Advisor so that Engie Electrabel can continue to focus on its own business.
